Weighing only 16kgs, and with no metal parts, this Practice Floor is designed for home use on carpet or a flat, hard floor. Two "Nice 'n' Easy" panels are hinged in the centre for compact storage, and open out to make a 1.200m x 1.080m x 18mm varnished floor: the edge is chamfered all round.
This system is designed for inside use, laid onto flat carpet or hard surfaces. It is easy for one person to lay. The 1200 x 600 solid birch plywood panels are laid in a “brick-bond” pattern. The long edges hook together. The side panels are slotted where they touch - plastic slips are pressed in, and removed with a simple tool. All perimeter panels have champfered outer edges. The length is in multiples of 600, and the width in multiples of 580.

These performance mats are made in the traditional way, of 32 x 9 slats, on a canvas back - like the lid of a roll-top desk.
